A 39-year-old man from Kent County, Michigan, turned a $20 lottery ticket into a life-changing $714,891 prize. The Michigan Lottery confirmed that the man, who often plays scratch-off tickets, won the progressive jackpot on the Super Lucky 7s Fast Cash game.
After winning $300 on the $30 Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game, he used $20 of his winnings to buy a Super Lucky 7s ticket at Exit 76 – Meadowbrooke, 4919 Town Center Court Southeast, Grand Rapids. When he scanned the ticket on the Michigan Lottery app, excitement took over. “The first thing I did was walk over and give the cashier a hug,” he said.
He plans to set aside some money for his children’s college funds, pay bills, and save the rest.
